This mod allows you to prevent players from randomly spawning on blocks specified by a tag.
Note that this only affects random spawns at the dimension spawnpoint - player specific spawnpoints do not have a random element and will always be at their exact coordinate (if valid).
Usage
The only configuration for the mod is the block tag #dontspawnonme:unspawnable. It defaults to #minecraft:leavesplus red and brown mushroom blocks, which will prevent players from being spawned on top of trees, which is a common occurrence in vanilla because tree canopies tend to be the highest block with sky access when they are around. Simply update the tag with a data pack to replace or add additional blocks.
