CAPTCHA codes are used all over the internet to verify if a user is not a bot. Now, you can bring that anti-bot and anti-spam protection to your server!
- Compatibility - it does not interfere with other plugins
- Configurability - you can customize almost everything
- Many display methods - show the code on chat, on boss bar or as a title
- Remember players - check when someone was verified, from what IP, etc.
- Ignore login commands - let players log in before typing the CAPTCHA code
- Force verification - make players verify every x days or force them to do so
The plugin was tested on:
- Vanilla MC - versions from 1.7.2 to 1.11.2 (including 1.7-1.8 spigot protocol hack, build #1649)
- Modded MC - version 1.7.10 (with ProtocolLib 3.4.0)
- If you need support for any other version - contact me using on of the methods listed in the Issues and bugs section
- Download the latest version of the plugin
- Put the downloaded .jar file in the plugins folder of your server
- Restart or reload the server
- Configure the plugin using config files which are in the KCaptcha folder
- Use /kcaptcha reload command to load new configuration
- Follow steps 1-2 from the list above
- Download ProtocolLib and put the .jar file in the plugins folder
- Follow steps 3-5 from the list above
This section will be useful for users who update the plugin and need to reconfigure it
For users updating from version v1.4.1 or older:
- Run the /kcaptcha convert pre15 command (it may only be run by console)
- The plugin will rename some sections in config.yml and messages.yml files
- You must now copy the renamed sections to correct config files used by the plugin (e.g mainConfig.yml )
- All this command does, is just renaming of the sections and deletion of old, no longer used ones
- IT WILL NOT TRANSFER THE DATA BETWEEN FILES ON ITS OWN, YOU MUST DO IT MANUALLY !
The configuration is split into four files, every file is (I hope) well described:
If you need any help with the configuration - contact me using on of the methods listed in the Issues and bugs section
Commands:
- /kcaptcha - main command, aliases: captcha, kcode, code
