The Kozmikk Kut is a Modpack for The Kozmikk Kut SMP Server that tries to enhance the vanilla experience and add a solid amount of new content. Built with care to provide multiplayer fun and a immersive experience

WARNING! Notice about DISTANT HORIZONS. Still in Alpha and there is a large hit to performance even when disabling the rendering. If experiencing low performance disable it in modrinth, use a more performant shader or none! When playing on a multiplayer server you MUST disable "Distant Generation" it will tank your performance for no gain as there is no server-side version of the mod as of (07/10/2024)

Creeper Overhaul Disabled Ocean Creepers (Just really annoying when traversing the sea and way too many of them)

Footprint Particles - Disabled footprints for slimes and magma cubes

Herd's Panic - Mobs can run twice as far as default to get away from you

Naturalist - Lowered Bass spawn rate a little and made it so that farm animals could spawn in Forests and Savannas again. Disabled fireflies since we'll be using wilder wild's firefly's

Traveler's Titles - Made it so that the text appears in the top left of the screen to improve immersion

Visuality - Disabled rain drop circles in water because all ready done by the Particular Mod

Spyglass Improvements - Hide the settings button since it causes crashes for some reason (Edit the config or mod menu UI if you want to edit the mod)

Particular - Disabled Fireflies for wilder wild's fireflies

Wakes - Disabled everything except for the boat simulation and planes that form. The only feature missing from the Particular mod

Time & Wind - The days last 45 minutes and the nights last 10

Simple Voice Chat - Disabled Voice Groups and Recording

Supplementaries - Disabled rope because all use cases are taken or better by the Farmer's Delight Rope

Waystones - Only the owner can rename a waystone, they do not spawn in villages and have to be found on a waystone tower or very rarely one will spawn in nature. They require 4 XP levels per 1000 blocks traveled. The return/bound/warp scrolls have been disabled. You MUST use the waystones themselves to teleport. It now takes "Eyes of Ender" instead of "Ender Pearls" to craft warpstones and warpdust

Sparse Structures - By default makes structures twice as rare; I've set it to in-between this and vanilla. So everything is 50% rarer

Waystone Towers - They are the only structures that are twice as rare (sparse structures default value)

Immersive Melodies - Made mobs spawning with instruments from 1 in a hundred to 1 in a thousand. It happened way too much so its more of an easter egg now than a constant thing

Bat Membrane - Phantoms only spawn in the Otherside dimension. You can also get phantom membrane from bats now

World Previewer - Disabled menu option button. Can only be used on world create

Wilder Wild - Lowered spawnrate of jellyfish from 30 to 6. Lowered crab spawn rate from 20 to 8 to not overdo it

Your Options Shall Be Respected - Default 90FOV, tutorials disabled, warnings disabled, GUI set to 3, disabled vsync, unlimited FPS, default mod resource packs, lowered the volume of music to 10% and ambient sounds to 40%

Complementary Shaders - A custom config provided for Complementary + Euphoria Patches. This makes the shader compatible with "Spyglass Astronomy"

Troubleshooting

1. Change modrinth Java Memory usage to 10000mb if you have 16GB of memory and 12000mb if you have 32GB of memory; do not go above 12000mb!
2. Update java versions
3. Update GPU Drivers
4. Turn off distant horizons completely if experiencing issues
5. If experiencing any issues message kozmikk on Discord
