The Snappy modpack is now available on both Neoforge and Fabric platforms. While there are some differences between the two versions, each is considered the fastest modpack in its respective category.
It's important to note that the Neoforge version supports shaders but is a bit slower than the Fabric version, which is Vulkan-based. They both offer all the features of Sodium delivering significantly better performance on supported systems—especially at higher render distances.
Key features include:
- Works out of the box, no configuration needed—"It just works."
- Zoom function
- Improved ping display
- Smoother animations
- Enhanced hunger bar
- Inventory and crafting tweaks
- Improved F3 panel
- Instant quit from worlds
- Better sound
- Searchable keybinds menu
It provides a 50% performance boost compared to other Sodium-based modpacks and up to 6x the performance of Optifine.
"Some meaningless thing"The performance claims were only made for the vulkan based version
