OJarrisonn's Vanilla Extended

VX (Vanilla Extended) is a modpack with aims to give you a better vanilla experience adding mostly client-side features to keep the game full vanilla compatible. Our objective is to make a modpack for you to play with your friends even if they don't have the modpack installed.

VX focuses on adding visual and performance improvements (most by the Sodium and it's addons) and some utilities for making your gameplay more practical. Some added features are:

• Inventory sorting
• Minimap
• Zoom
• Faster load screens
• Improved sounds

Recommends

We have some recommends for making the game visual even better by installing some resource packs and shaders.

Resource Packs

• All of Oslypsis packs, but mainly:

  • Os' Colorful Cobblestone
  • Os' Colorful Grasses: in particular the full version
  • Os' Carved Wood
  • Os' Pottery Sherds
  • Os' Nether Star Colored Netherite
  • Os' Vibrant Retextured Glazed Terracotta
  • Os' Crops

• The Reimagined + Fresh Animations pack:

  • Fresh Animations: Full revamp of Minecraft mobs animations
  • Reimagined: Full revamp of Minecraft textures
  • Reimagined GUI (Dark): Dark GUI (just uses the same name, but it's not part of the Reimagined pack)
  • Reimagined 3D+: Adds some 3D models
  • Reimagined | Fresh Animations Patch: Compat layer for FA and Reimagined

• Some extra packs:

  • Enchant Icons: Adds icons to enchantments names as a tip
  • xali's Enchanted Books: Gives enchantment books unique textures
  • xali's Potions: Gives unique textures to potions
  • Cubic Sun & Moon
  • Better Leaves: adds bushy leaves

Shaders

My recommendation for shaders is Complementary Shaders - Reimagined. But if you have a really powerful GPU, you may wanna test Rethinking Voxels.
