The Darkfall modpack was created to be more challenging, adventurous, fresh and fun, all at the same time, from the ground up and with the player in mind.

With the addition of many more mob mods such as Enderman Overhaul, Ultris Boss Expansion and Mob Captains, Better Combat comes as no surprise to give a more challenging combat system to gameplay. But also, mods like Tipped Daggers, Spellbound Weapons, Immersive Armors and More Bows Restrung adds to your arsenal of ways to defeat these upgraded bosses and baddies. Combat isn’t just harder, it’s more compelling and strategic in the later game. And you will never feel overpowered early on.

And if you like building as much as I do, Create, Macaw’s, Stoneworks and Revamped Piles makes for some incredible builds. There’s also the Let’s Do mod series like, Brewery, Bakery, furniture and Herbal Brew as well as Cooking for Blockheads to make staying alive easier and a little more interesting.

Tons of QOL mods including: Game Menu Mod Options to adjust configs from in-game, Time Control to adjust how long you want the day and or night to be. It’s completely customizable. No more wondering if you dropped or picked up items either. Loot Beams, Physics and Immersive UI will allow you to track exactly what you’ve got and with Mouse Tweaks and Inventory Essentials, sorting inventories is a cinch. Speaking of Loot, Better Dungeon Loot will give you that feeling of accomplishment when beating a boss or a dungeon. So, no more string and iron ingots in chests. Better F3 lets you see all your world data at a glance and easy to decipher and Unity: Dark Edition gives the UI a little dark flair to complement the game’s atmosphere and with Cherished Worlds you can mark your favorite seeds.

World generation and exploration is enhanced also, to make the Darkfall world come alive. You’ll find Yung’s content, Spawn Animations, Tectonic, Luki’s Grand Capitals, Guard Villagers, Towns and Towers and a host of other structure and exploration mods to create an atmosphere in Minecraft that you’ve never seen before.

There’s also a few surprise mods thrown in Darkfall to give you a sense of mystery and excitement. Nighttime isn’t for the faint of heart. You’ve been warned. Give this modpack a try … If you DARE.!
