Which Minecraft do you have?

Every version of the game needs its own build. Pick yours, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game. This mod is built for Resource pack only.

I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

Villagers

Villagers have been completely reimagined, drawing inspiration from the classical civilizations that flourished across Europe and the Middle East in antiquity. Beyond the borders of the known world, additional cultures emerge from untamed jungles and remote swamps.

Plains Desert Taiga
Plains villagers are inspired by the Greco-Roman world. Desert villagers draw from the cultures of the Levant. Taiga villagers reflect the frontier peoples along the Rhine.

Savanna Jungle Snowy Swamp
Savanna villagers take inspiration from North African cultures. Jungle villagers are styled after civilizations of Central America. Snowy villagers reflect the peoples north of the Rhine. Swamp dwellers are rugged outsiders, shaped by the harsh wetlands they inhabit.

Each profession also features a distinct outfit familiar in function, yet authentically styled to reflect the world they inhabit.

Trade and Protection

Wandering Traders and Iron Golems have also been given a new look, redesigned to better fit the classical aesthetic.

Illagers

Not all cultures of antiquity were friendly. Beware the reimagined Illagers, inspired by the so-called “barbarian” societies beyond the northern frontiers of Europe.
