Battlegrounds is a plugin i've designed to replicate the experience from PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, a popular king-of-the-hill arena survival game which has been dominating the market. The plugin provides core features which can be used to host your own arena survival experience!
Features:
- Multiple arenas and concurrent matches.
- Tracking of vital statistics such as kills, deaths, wins, losses, and Elo rating.
- Multi-round matches with a shrinking arena border - just like in PUBG.
- Requires WorldEdit , WorldBorder , and Vault .
- Requires Spigot 1.12+.
This plugin is relatively easy to install.
- Download the most recent JAR.
- Place the JAR into the /plugins/ folder of your server directory.
- Restart or reload the server.
Minecraft Battlegrounds is designed so that you never have to edit configuration files. Configuration is done entirely with commands, using the /bg config command (restricted to operators and players with permission).
You do not need to reload the plugin once you change settings in /bg config.
Permissions
bg.* - Grants all Battlegrounds permissions.
bg.arena.* - Grants all arena-based permissions.
bg.arena.join.* - Grants permission to join any game type.
bg.arena.join.single - Grants permission to join any single-player game type (non-teams).
bg.arena.manage - Grants permission to create, delete, and test arenas.
bg.arena.list - Grants permission to list all available arenas.
bg.arena.config - Grants permission to configure the plugin.
Configuration Properties (for /bg config)
showdamagelog (yes/no) - Controls whether damage logs should show up in the chat log.
matchplayers (number) - Controls the lobby size required to start the game (also the max players per lobby).
maxrounds (number) - Controls how many rounds will pass before sudden death begins.
Creating an Arena
This plugin requires both Vault and WorldEdit in order to function properly. In order to create a new arena, follow these steps:
- Select a region with WorldEdit.
- Use the command: /bg create [name]
Command Reference
/bg config - Allows you to configure the plugin.
/bg create [name] - Creates a new plugin.
/bg delete [name] - Deletes a new plugin.
/bg test [name] - Sets an arena to test mode (makes the arena shrink very quickly).
/bg join single - Joins a solo match ( you're on your own )
/bg leave - Leaves the match (surrender), counts as a loss.
/bg list - Lists available arenas.
/bg stats - Shows your statistics for Battlegrounds matches.
