WarpPoint

WarpPoint is the sister plugin of HomeSpawn. You might find they are similar in many ways. This also means that there may be sometimes where they have the same features or similar commands. hopefully, this makes it easier to use rather than annoy anyone.



Custom Permissions System
The permissions can be used as is or you can add your own. This means you can have as many different permissions as you like and you can have different settings for each.

Auto Updating
The plugin automatically checks for updates and will notify anyone with the admin permission about the available update when they join. They can then use /warppoint update to download the update, it will be automatically installed when the server restarts. You can also enable update downloading in the configuration, this will allow the plugin to automatically download and install updates. This means that you get the newest version as quickly as possible without even having to download it yourself.

Type based warps
The type system means you get to choose who can use your warps. There are currently 3 types, Private, Public and Faction. These 3 allow your warp to be accessed only by you, only by people in your faction or everyone on the server. Faction warps will even move with you when you change factions (Factions needs to be installed to use faction warps).

Messages.yml
Almost all messages are in the messages.yml file that is stored in the plugins folder, this allows you to customize how the messages look as well as translating to your language if you run an international server.

Configuration Files
Everything is stored in configuration files in a human readable way. This means that if a players’ warp is putting them in the ground you can open up their file and move the Y coordinate up a bit. Keep in mind that you will need to edit the files while the server is stopped (will be fixing soon) so that the files don’t get overridden with the version that is already loaded

• /WarpPoint [help/update/reload/player (name)]

Help: Displays the usage messages for all commands
Update: Checks for an update, if it finds a newer version it will download and set it up to install on the next server start
Reload: Reloads all of the configuration files, use this if you change a configuration value and want it to take effect now rather than after a server restart. Please use this instead of using /reload
Player: Shows basic player stats like number of warps used and their names as well as when the player was last online and their assigned permission

• /SetWarp [warp name] [type]

warp name: this is the name that you want to be given to your warp, you will need to remember this
type: this determines who can use your warp. Public means everyone with the PublicTele permission can use it, Private means only you can use it and Factions means everyone in your faction can use it. If you move factions, the faction warp moves with you. Note that faction warps only work on servers with factions installed.

• /DelWarp [name] [type]

Deletes the warp with the matching name and type, it will only let you delete warps you own.
Refer to the name and type meanings above.

• /Warp [name] [type]

Will send you to a warp of that name and type.
Type is only needed if you have access to two or more warps of the same name.
e.g. you might have access to a public warp named mine and a faction warp named mine. In this case, you will need to include the type so that the plugin knows which warp to send you to.


Permissions are managed by you, the default configuration will work for most people. but you can dive in and make as many permissions with custom setups as you want. These are stored in the main configuration file.



The plugin will automatically check for updates and notify you when one is available. then with just 1 command (/warppoint update) you can have the newest version ready to go. The plugin will automatically install the next time the server starts. or you can enable update downloading, this means that the plugin will automatically download and install updates the moment they come out.



This plugin can collect data about how many players and servers are using it and what specifications they have. Here is an example. this graph shows players and servers using the plugin (quite low since this plugin is very new)
