Jappa be Praised!

Rave's Lively Creepers is a Resource Pack for Optifine and EMF/ETF that adds "Spring to Life" style variants of Creepers into the world of Minecraft, while trying to maintain a vanilla-esque style.

How did we get here?

In the fall of 2009, a 30-year-old swede was developing a little indie game (you've probably never heard of it) and completely fumbled the pig model. This was the catalyst that spawned the largest gaming franchise on the planet (you've still probably never heard of it though), and we as a species would never fully recover from the impact.

The original Creeper texture, which has remain largely unchanged for 15 years, is comprised of 692 unique colors on a texture canvas of 896 pixels. We in the biz like to call this a "load of honky-tonk". Since Creepers are just lopsided pigs, I resolved to use the new pig variants as heavy inspiration for three unique Creeper variants.

This pack requires Optifine OR EMF/ETF to run properly.

In Optifine, make sure that the following are turned on:

You can find these settings by navigating to Options > Video Settings > Quality

(From left to right) Cold, Warm, and Temperate Creepers.
