Don't like visual notes, but enjoy the rest of a resource pack? This addon might be the solution for you!
Some packs use "visual notes/pitches" as the default for their noteblock texture. However, this serves to be problematic if you use noteblocks in building — an essential part of Minecraft.
While this cannot help with custom packs that have heavily changed textures from the default textures (unless you don't care if it's different), this should help with vanilla-like packs, or possibly other similar 16-bit resource packs. Your mileage may vary.
"Why would I not just change this myself?", you might ask. Well, if you enjoy using the noteblock's visual notes from a resourcepack, this could serve as an enable/disable switch in your resourcepacks. Hence calling it an "addon." Simply move it over to enable/disable. Like an on/off switch!
Make sure to put this pack ABOVE the pack you are trying to change (i.e. the one that uses the visual notes).
This pack will only be updated periodically. If the red incompatible warning bothers you enough, feel free to change the pack format accordingly. It should work regardless unless Mojang decides to wreck the file structure/formatting like they typically enjoy doing.
