This datapack / required resource pack is a example pack that adds all the files you need to add custom wolf variants in minecraft (1.21.4)
How it works:
- Download / unzip the pack
- If you are in a version above 1.21.4 adjust the pack formats as needed
- locate the wolf_variant folder inside the datapack
- adjust the json files inside that folder and change them to match what you need
- inside the resource pack make sure to add the textures in the texture/entity/wolf and make sure they match the names in the datapack
How to get the wolf variant in game: You can either summon it with commands or you can go to the biome you entered in the datapack and spawn it with a spawn egg
