One Pixel Wide

This resource pack modifies Minecraft’s default font by making its characters invisible and as small as possible.
This allows you to write far more text than normally allowed, while the text is invisible while the resource pack is enabled.

How It Works:

Minecraft limits how much text can fit in things like signs and books based on the visual width of characters, not the raw character count.

This resource pack:

• Replaces the font textures with fully transparent ones
• Shrinks their effective size to the minimum possible
• Keeps all characters functional

Because the characters take up almost no space, Minecraft allows much more text to be entered before hitting its usual limits.

How To Use:

1. Enable the resource pack
2. Write or paste your text into a sign or a book
3. Save the text while the resource pack is still enabled
4. Disable the resource pack

Once the resource pack is removed, the text becomes visible again - even if it exceeds normal limits!

Affected:

• Writable Books
• Written Books (note that while the text is still in the nbt, it probably won't show the text. Useful for chunk bans)
• Signs

Not Affected:

• Chat
• UI elements
• Tooltips

Notes:

• In 1.21.11+, Mojang added a scroll bar in writable books, so you don't have the width limit but only the raw content limit
• This is a client-side resource pack
• Text is invisible only while the pack is enabled
• There is still a raw character limit, but it is much higher than the normal visual width limit
• Even though this is client-side, the effects persist for other players once the text is written
• Useful for chunk bans.
• Does not modify gameplay logic, only font rendering
• If used for chunk bans, use 􏿽 which is the most complex character!
