This is not a name dependent resource pack!
This Resource pack adds new defenses, such as armors and shields! It use the item model definition to add new items to the game by simply using this command:
/give @p minecraft:shield[minecraft:item_model=diamond_shield]
Any minecraft item will work, I only used diamond_shield as an example, but preferably use shield for custom shields.
Note: Shield banner patterns are limited for custom shields, you cannot apply it on them I'm sorry.
For armors, you would add a additonals definitions to determine the armor model on the player and others! Heres a full example of it:
/give @p minecraft:diamond_helmet[minecraft:equippable={slot:"head",equip_sound:"item.armor.equip_diamond",asset_id:"emerald"},minecraft:item_model=emerald_helmet]
This allows you to display the item model and the model of the armor on the player body (asset_id), you also need to precise on which slot the armor piece will go on (head, chest, legs and feet). And finally, you can add a sound to the armor when it is equipped.

Supports Minecraft 1.21.4 and further.
Please do not use this resource pack or modify it for other resource packs without my permission. Thanks!
