📋 Requirements

Required

• Minecraft: 1.21.1
• Simple Coin Shops Mod: Required for functionality

🎮 Installation

For Players (Client-Side)

1. Download the resource pack
2. Open Minecraft
3. Go to Options → Resource Packs
4. Click Open Pack Folder
5. Move the downloaded .zip file into this folder (DO NOT UNZIP)
6. Go back to Minecraft and activate the pack
7. Click Done

That's it! Your Moto Coins will now have custom textures.

For Server Owners

Method 1: Server Resource Pack (Recommended)

1. Upload the resource pack to a file host (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive, or your own web server)
2. Get the direct download URL (must end in .zip)
3. Generate the SHA1 hash:

   # Linux/Mac
   sha1sum Moto_Coin_Resourcepack.zip
   
   # Windows PowerShell
   Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA1 Moto_Coin_Resourcepack.zip
   

4. Edit your server.properties:

   resource-pack=https://your-url.com/Moto_Coin_Resourcepack.zip
   resource-pack-sha1=YOUR_SHA1_HASH_HERE
   require-resource-pack=true
   resource-pack-prompt=Please accept the Moto Coin resource pack for the best experience!
   

5. Restart your server

All players will automatically receive the resource pack when they join!

Method 2: Optional Client-Side

Simply share the download link with your players and let them install it manually.

🔍 What It Does

This resource pack modifies the Paper item to display a custom texture when it has CustomModelData: 1.

The Simple Coin Shops mod automatically sets this data on Moto Coins, so:

• With this pack: Moto Coins display as beautiful gold coins 🪙
• Without this pack: Moto Coins look like regular paper (but still work!)

⚙️ Customization

Want to create your own coin design?

1. Unzip the resource pack
2. Replace assets/minecraft/textures/item/moto_coin.png with your own 16x16 PNG texture
3. Rezip the folder (make sure pack.mcmeta stays at the root level)
4. Install your custom version

Tips for Custom Textures:

• Use 16x16 pixel resolution (or multiples for HD)
• PNG format with transparency support
• Keep the design clear and recognizable
• Test in-game to ensure it looks good in inventories and on the ground
