Balanced Vanilla

by boshyXD32 · on Modrinth

this data pack aims to rebalance some aspects of minecraft such as loot, block drops, recipes, game mechanics, etc.

Which Minecraft do you have?

Every version of the game needs its own build. Pick yours, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game. This mod is built for Data pack only.

⬇ Download for 1.19–1.19.3⬇ Download for 1.18.2
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

with this data pack im aiming to rebalance some aspects of minecraft originally borned from my desire to get a more challenging inv management experience by reworking the newly added raw ores but then later realized that the game needs more balancing than just raw ore implementation.

with this pack the changes made to iron and gold ores on 1.17 have been reverted to 1.16 and below this was mostly made because of how easy is to get both iron and gold in large ammounts nowadays. specially with large ore veins and ruined portals. some other aspects are also rebalanced too such as for example adding a brand new recipe for the notch apple(enchanted golden apple) which requires far more resources than ever before, now requiring a golden apple instead of a regular apple to craft. this pack also aims to give more choices to players with mob loot changes, for example the pillager arrow drop from bedrock is here on this pack too.

with this pack you can expect some stuff from older releases of minecraft to come back too, for example glowstone drops from blazes just like they do on conosole(legacy) edition. and more is coming in the future
