🌌 What is ArcaneMobs?
ArcaneMobs transforms your Minecraft server into a rich, RPG-like experience with dynamic scaling mobs, player leveling, a robust questing system, and a custom economy. Whether you're hunting elite creatures or climbing the skill tree, there's always something to strive for.
⚔️ Core Features
I. RPG-Style Player Progression & Skill System
- Players gain XP by defeating ArcaneMobs and completing quests.
- Level up core attributes: Attack, Defense, Strength, and Health.
- Allocate skill points to boost damage, defense, and max HP.
- Use
/skillsto view and manage your progression:- Track XP, level, unspent points, and skill bonuses.
II. Dynamic & Scalable ArcaneMobs
- Custom mob variants that scale with nearby player levels:
- Adjusted health, damage, armor, and speed.
- Mobs display:
- Nameplate with scaled level and glow effect.
- Boss bar showing name, health, and level.
- Visual polish with custom particles and glowing effects.
🔮 Configurable On-Hit Effects (In Progress)
mobeffects.ymllets you define potion effects per mob type and level range.- Effects include chance, duration, and strength.
- (Note: Application in combat is not yet enabled — groundwork is laid.)
III. Fully-Featured Questing System
🗡️ Pre-Built Quests
- 10 engaging quests including:
- Zombie Hunter, Skeleton Skirmisher, Spider Slayer, Witch Hunt, Piglin Patrol, and more.
- Objective: Kill specified mobs and earn XP + rewards (like Arcane Coins).
📜 Quest GUI (/quest or /quest list)
- View active quest details, objectives, and rewards.
- Start new quests or abandon current ones with a click.
- Accept quests via GUI (with hidden ID handling built-in).
IV. Custom Arcane Coin Economy
- Arcane Coins (gold nuggets) act as both:
- A physical item dropped by mobs.
- A virtual currency tracked on pickup.
- Coin drops scale by mob level.
- Player balances are saved and persist across sessions.
💰 Economy Commands (via /am or /arcanemobs)
/am balance [player]– Check coin balance/am pay <player> <amount>– Send coins to another player/am eco <give|take|set> <player> <amount>– Admin controls
