TradeReplacer is a simple Minecraft Paper plugin for 1.21.4 that changes how armor progression works by modifying villager trades and crafting.
✨ Features:
Villager Trade Tweaks:
Replaces all Iron and Diamond armor trades from villagers with Leather and Chainmail armor trades instead.
Makes upgrading through trading more balanced and progressive.
Crafting Restrictions:
Completely removes the ability to craft Iron and Diamond armor pieces (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots).
Players must now find or earn higher-tier armor through exploration and adventure rather than crafting.
Lightweight and Efficient:
Minimal server impact.
Plug-and-play — no configuration required.
📜 How it works:
When the server loads, the plugin automatically removes crafting recipes for iron and diamond armor.
It also intercepts villager trades and replaces any offers of iron or diamond armor with equivalent leather or chainmail armor.
