This plugin prevents specific spawn eggs from being used on mob spawners if they contain defined lore lines. It is fully configurable through the config.yml, where server administrators can list any lore strings that should block the egg from being applied to a spawner.
How it works:
Every time a player tries to use a spawn egg on a spawner, the plugin inspects the egg’s lore. If any line of the lore matches a configured forbidden entry, the action is cancelled. The spawn egg remains intact in the player’s hand, and the spawner is not changed. Normal spawn eggs without blocked lore work as usual.
Possible use cases:
Preventing custom boss eggs from being applied to spawners. Restricting special event eggs to keep them from being farmed. Protecting server economy by ensuring only normal spawn eggs can modify spawners. Allowing map creators or adventure servers to distribute decorative or collectible eggs without risk of abuse.
This makes the plugin especially useful for survival, economy, and minigame servers where control over mob spawners is important.
