FlightHeightRestrictor is a lightweight plugin that allows server owners to limit how high players can fly in specific worlds. Ideal for balancing gameplay, preventing exploits, or keeping builds within certain height boundaries, the plugin automatically monitors player positions and enforces restrictions.
If a player exceeds the configured maximum height, they are safely teleported down by a defined distance. The plugin also ensures players are dismounted from vehicles if necessary, preventing bypasses or glitches.
All key behaviors are configurable in the config.yml:
max-height – maximum Y level players can reach before being teleported down.
teleport-distance – how far the player is moved downward when exceeding the limit.
check-interval – frequency of height checks (in ticks).
world-whitelist – list of worlds where the restriction applies.
ShowDonateMessage – option to toggle the donation reminder in console.
Additional features:
World-specific configuration via whitelist.
Safe teleportation handling for players and vehicles.
Efficient scheduled checks that avoid lag.
Integrated update checker and metrics.
FlightHeightRestrictor is perfect for servers that want to enforce realistic flight limits, maintain build restrictions, or prevent abuse of elytras, creative flight, or other mechanics.
