What is this mod?

A mysterious priestess of the pillagers has placed a deadly curse upon you. Now, twisted warriors hunt you across the world, the very sky darkens at your approach, and whispers of your doom echo in the chat. Only by seeking out her hidden temple and discovering ancient knowledge can you hope to turn the curse back on its caster.

The Curse

After encountering the priestess, you may find yourself afflicted with a supernatural blight known as Pillage Doom. This curse follows you wherever you go, refusing to be washed away by milk or simple remedies. While you carry it:

• A heavy, unnatural heartbeat pounds in your ears.
• Dark threats are broadcast to everyone on the server, promising your demise.
• The sky itself dims to a blood‑red hue.
• Murderous assassins emerge from the shadows behind you, growing more numerous and more powerful over time.

Your Foes

• The Avenger – A towering, silent killer that smashes through doors and shrugs off potions, fire, and even the longest falls. It hits with raw force that no armour can fully stop, and it will keep coming until you or it are dead. Defeating one may reward you with a peculiar potion.

• The Priestess – The source of the curse. Her mere presence sickens those nearby, clouding their vision and turning their stomachs. She flickers behind you when struck, always staying out of reach. If you fail to prepare properly, her final breath will infect everyone around her with her dying curse. But there is a way to silence her forever…

• The Valkyrie – A flying nightmare that rains explosive fire from above, blind to any walls or cover you might seek. It pursues you relentlessly, even tracking you underground, and its burning missiles reshape the ground into scorching magma. Survivors speak of a rare material it guards – and a legendary enchantment for the wings of those who dare to fly.

Tools of Survival

Explore, fight, and trade to arm yourself against the curse.

• Big Show – A potent elixir dropped by Avengers. Drinking it grants a burst of strength and leaping power, as if channelling the might of a famous bald fighter.

• Priestess Heart – A grisly trophy that whispers of dark knowledge. Holding it in your off‑hand makes nearby creatures glow through walls, but it drains your life force and clouds your sight with prophetic blindness.

• Valkyrie Weave – A delicate, wing‑like membrane. Combining several of these with an existing elytra in a crafting grid can duplicate your wings.

• Legend of Calamity – A crumpled piece of paper, edible in a pinch. Every newcomer receives one; it tells the tale of the priestess and hints at how to stop her. (It’s also a light snack.)

• Temple Locator & Supply Station – An ornate workstation that, when placed and clicked, announces the coordinates of the nearest hidden temple to all players. It also provides a job for a special villager.

Enchantments from Beyond

• Steel Wings – A treasured enchantment for elytra. Wings blessed with it never fray, and they harden to offer the same protection as a chestplate. You must earn it from the Valkyrie.

• Banishment – The key to breaking the curse. When applied to your weapon, striking the priestess with it will dispel her corrupting influence entirely, leaving no doom behind. The book itself lies hidden in a forgotten place.

The Hidden Temple

Somewhere in the badlands, a pillager temple slumbers. Inside, you will find the Banishment enchantment, waiting for a champion brave enough to wield it. The Supply Station can help you pinpoint its location.

A Friend in the Village

If you place a Temple Locator & Supply Station near an unemployed villager, they will take up the role of Village Security Minister. They offer a variety of trades, all for emerald blocks:

• A Big Show potion can be exchanged for emerald blocks (more experienced ministers give better rates).
• Priestess Hearts and Valkyrie Weaves are also valuable currency.
• Those who reach the pinnacle of trust can obtain a masterfully enchanted diamond pickaxe, blessed with unmatched fortune and efficiency.

Milestones (Advancements)

Your journey is marked by challenges that pop up automatically when you accomplish certain feats. No need to unlock anything beforehand – just play, and they will appear. Some examples:

• Enter the pillager temple.
• Hold a Priestess Heart in your off‑hand.
• Drink a Big Show.
• Craft duplicated elytra.
• Receive the Pillage Doom curse.
• Slay each of the three main hunters.
• Eat the Legend of Calamity paper.
• Use Banishment to end the priestess.
• Outlast the full curse without dying.

Tips for Beginners

1. Food and a shield are your best friends; some hunters hit very hard.
2. If you receive the curse, don’t panic – you can survive it, but prepare for escalating attacks.
3. Seek out a badlands biome and look for the temple. The Supply Station can guide you.
4. Defeat a priestess with a Banishment‑enchanted weapon to safely end the fight without spreading the curse.
5. Trade with the Village Security Minister to turn your hard‑earned loot into emerald blocks and eventually an exceptional pickaxe.

• 用大力药水可换取绿宝石块，经验更丰富的部长能给出更优的汇率。
• 女祭司之心和女武神之织同样价值不菲。
