No More Arachnophobia is a client-side Fabric mod that makes Minecraft spiders much less spider-like.
Instead of rendering as spiders:
- Cave spiders render as small slimes
- Regular spiders render as slightly larger slimes
- Spider sounds are replaced with vanilla Minecraft cat meows
The mod only changes visuals and sounds on your client. It does not change spider behavior, hitboxes, AI, spawning, drops, combat, or server-side gameplay.
Client-side only
This mod only needs to be installed on the client. Servers do not need to install it.
