AppleVanish

Apple Vanish is a lightweight staff vanish plugin that can make staff appear to leave the server when enabling vanish and appear to join back when disabling it.

Instead of making staff members simply pop out of existence, AppleVanish can simulate a normal disconnect when vanish is enabled and a normal reconnect when vanish is disabled. The result feels much more believable for regular players and much more useful for real moderation.

Why AppleVanish?

Many vanish plugins either do too little, feel outdated, or become messy when used across multiple Minecraft versions.

How it works

When a staff member enables vanish:

• regular players see a natural leave message
• the vanished player is hidden from normal visibility
• the vanished player can be removed from the tab list on supported versions
• public chat can be blocked while vanished
• combat can be blocked while vanished to avoid accidental exposure

When vanish is disabled:

• regular players see a natural join message
• the player becomes visible again
• normal interaction is restored

This creates a much cleaner vanish flow than a simple instant hide/show system.

Configuration

enableFakeJoinQuitMessages

Enables or disables fake join/quit messages completely.

blockCombatWhileVanished

Prevents vanished players from dealing damage while vanished.

This helps avoid exposure through PvP, ranged attacks, and other combat-related situations.

PlaceholderAPI

If PlaceholderAPI is installed, AppleVanish registers:

• %fullvanish_online% - visible online player count
• %fullvanish_vanished% - whether the player is vanished
