A modern continuation of the classic MassiveCraft Factions plugin for current Minecraft servers.

Factions Reborn is an updated continuation of the original MassiveCraft Factions plugin.

It preserves the familiar factions experience while updating the project for modern Minecraft versions. Players can create factions, recruit members, claim territory, form alliances, declare enemies, and compete for control of the world.

Factions Reborn is independently maintained and is not officially affiliated with MassiveCraft.

Requirements

• Minecraft 26.2
• A compatible Spigot or Paper server
• Java 21 or newer

Paper is recommended.

Installation

1. Stop your Minecraft server.
2. Download the latest Factions Reborn JAR.
3. Place the JAR inside your server’s plugins folder.
4. Start the server.
5. Confirm that Factions Reborn loaded successfully in the console.

The plugin will create its configuration and data files inside the plugins/FactionsReborn folder.

Getting Started
Use /f help to view the available faction commands.

Create a faction with:

/f create <name>

The commands available to each player may depend on their faction role and server permissions.

Updating

1. Stop the server.
2. Back up the Factions Reborn data folder.
3. Replace the old plugin JAR with the new version.
4. Start the server.
5. Check the console for warnings or migration messages.

Always read the release notes before updating.
