ItemBounty – Lightweight Item‑Based Bounty System
ItemBounty is a lightweight, vanilla‑friendly bounty system designed for SMP servers that don’t use an economy plugin but still want a fun and rewarding bounty mechanic. Players can place item bounties on others and manage the bounty reward chests that automatically expire after a configurable number of days. The plugin is entirely based on a single command and clean GUI menus — no need to remember dozens of commands.
The plugin focuses on simplicity and full compatibility with Bukkit‑based servers — no dependencies, no economy, no NMS, no conflicts.
Features
- Create item‑based bounties on any player
- Clean and intuitive GUI menus
- Bounty chests that store all rewards for the killer
- Automatic chest expiration (configurable)
- Optional item whitelist for allowed bounty items
- Place custom items directly into the bounty GUI using the config
- Fully persistent YAML storage
- Lightweight, fast, and SMP‑friendly
- Works on all 1.21.x servers
- No economy plugin required
- No external dependencies
