Shout - Velocity Plugin

A lightweight Velocity proxy plugin that provides global shout and server invitation features with cooldown system.

Commands

Command	Aliases	Description	Cooldown
/shout <message>	/s	Send a global shout message to all players	180 seconds
/yq <message>	-	Invite all players to join your current server	20 seconds

Color Codes

You can use & followed by a color code in your messages. Example:

• &a - Green
• &c - Red
• &6 - Gold
• &l - Bold
• &o - Italic

Example: /shout &6&lImportant &aServer maintenance in 10 minutes!

Installation

1. Download the latest Shout.jar file
2. Place it in your Velocity server's plugins folder
3. Restart or reload your Velocity server
4. The plugin will automatically enable

Configuration

This plugin does not require any configuration file. All settings are hardcoded:

• /shout cooldown: 180 seconds (3 minutes)
• /yq cooldown: 20 seconds

Permissions

No permissions required! All commands are available to everyone by default.

Requirements

• Velocity 3.0.0 or higher
• Java 21 or higher

Shout Command

/shout Hello everyone! /s &cImportant &aServer restart in 5 minutes!

YQ Command (Server Invitation)

/yq Come join me for some PvP! /yq # Send invitation without custom message

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Q: The plugin doesn't load

• Check the Velocity server logs for errors
• Ensure you're using Velocity 3.0.0 or higher

Q: Color codes don't work

• Make sure you're using & not § in your messages
• Example: /shout &aThis is green text

Q: Players can't see the invitation

• Ensure players have the /server command available on your proxy
• The clickable join button requires client support

故障排除

常见问题

问：插件无法加载

• 检查 Velocity 服务器日志中的错误信息
• 确保你使用的是 Velocity 3.0.0 或更高版本

问：颜色代码不生效

• 确保在消息中使用的是 & 而不是 §
• 示例：/shout &a这是绿色文字

问：玩家看不到邀请

• 确保代理端有 /server 命令可用
• 点击加入按钮需要客户端支持
