A community-refreshed re-release. Original by lukidonu — now updated & maintained by darkstarworks.
Trial Chambers, but bigger, wilder, and far less repetitive. This data pack overhauls Trial Chamber generation so every chamber comes out larger, with far more varied and interesting layouts instead of the same handful of vanilla rooms.
Works great with Better Trial Chambers: these chambers are packed with trial spawners and trial vaults, so you can pair the pack with BTC (+ its premium modules) to snapshot, protect, auto-reset and manage each one — turning it into renewable, multiplayer-friendly loot content.
What's new in v1.1.0
- Chambers no longer spawn random mobs from the darkness — only the trial spawners populate them now, matching vanilla Trial Chambers
- Added subtle weathering to the stonework: some deepslate bricks and tiles now generate cracked
Why this re-release?
The original was created by lukidonu, who has since discontinued all of their projects ("Projects are discontinued #RIP"). I tried to reach the author but wasn't able to make contact, so I've taken over maintenance to keep the project alive and compatible with current versions of Minecraft.
