Have you seen the /dev/null item from OpenBlocks and wanted that in vanilla Minecraft without mods? I gotcha covered.
DevNull

Skript 2.2
How does DevNull work? It's actually pretty simple.
Take any item which exists in the game, and name it /dev/null in an anvil (or using a command if you have a plugin which does that).
Once you have it named, just keep it somewhere in your inventory! Whenever you go to pickup that item, it'll stack to 64, then will delete any of that item type you try to pickup after (cobble for example)!

Known bugs:
-
The /dev/null will not work if there's more than 1 in the player's inventory. This is both a balance mechanic, and limitation of the script.
-
You may end up with more than 64 of the item in your inventory. Nothing can be done about it.
Notes:
This will allow you to make any item a /dev/null. Swords, potions, etc. Be careful in how you and/or your players use it, and make sure they 100% understand that you cannot and will not restore their items which were eaten by the /dev/null.
