This plugin allows you to mute the global chat for all normal players. Players with the require permission can still talk.
Should work for basically any version (1.8 - 1.16) haven't tested it though. Would really appreciate if anyone who has tested it lets me know!
Download instructions:
You need the plugin skript for this to work.
1. Download the mute chat script/plugin.
2. Open the skript plugin folder in your server file manager.
3. Navigate to the folder scripts.
4. Put the mute chat script/plugin in to the scripts folder.
