This project combines two regions in one for an ultra-large map. The map will be based on the appearance of the regions from Generation IV. The exception is the Sevii Islands which will be based on the islands seen in the Gameboy game.
- More space to walk around.
- More realistic feel towards the original.
- Buildings can have proper interiors while retaining the correct exterior proportions.
- Much more detail per walking tile.
- Open feeling.
All Towns, Cities, and Routes will be included. Every Town, City, and Route has been reconstructed as accurately as possible. I'm aiming for as little error as possible. All hidden areas, buildings, caves, and landmarks will be included and have been re-created with top-notch quality.
The issue with the Pokemon games is that the interiors can be twice the size or more of the exterior which is physically impossible. Most interiors are at a 1:1 scale or smaller so that all interior elements such as furniture and televisions can fit inside the building properly. The exterior dimensions take priority over the interior.
You will need Minecraft 1.12.2 or later to fully enjoy this project. I'm using a 1.12.2 save file because it is the last version that works with MCEdit and the popular PixelMon Mod.
THE FINAL MAP WILL BE IN THE 1.12.2 FORMAT ONLY due to the requests I've been getting about mod compatibility.
I'm using no texture packs as my intention is to combine the charm of vanilla Minecraft with the locations of Johto and Kanto. You can use your own preferred texture pack by all means. Many of the screenshots used a shader but it still looks great without a shader.
Hope you all enjoy it.
If you are using the map in a server the least I ask is that you give some credit. Thank you :-)
Any Questions? PM me and I'll answer them asap.

(Any locations that are not listed above but are located within a certain locale will be included in that locale)
2:1 Scale
What 2:1 scale means is that the Regions in this Minecraft Project are twice the size of the Regions in Pokemon games on the DS. A 1x1 tile on the DS is 2x2 blocks in Minecraft. The advantage of this is:- More space to walk around.
- More realistic feel towards the original.
- Buildings can have proper interiors while retaining the correct exterior proportions.
- Much more detail per walking tile.
- Open feeling.

All buildings will have interiors including all 16 Gyms, Contest Hall's, Pokemon Centres, and Pokemon Marts. Plus all houses and landmarks. The issue with the Pokemon games is that the interiors can be twice the size or more of the exterior which is physically impossible.
