Realistic Modern House (Download + Tutorial)

Featuring my latest build: A Realistic Modern house, for 1.16 Minecraft (Java).


The goal of this project was to create an original, contemporary house that achieves a realistic modern aesthetic for default Minecraft, while also providing space and proportions that can be made suited for survival mode. The chosen resource pack used for this build was Faithful, alongside BSL Shaders.

House features wide open-plan setting that includes:

• Living space
• Kitchen and diner
• Communal bathroom
• 2 en suite bedrooms
• Below-ground entertainment, bar and home cinema area (including poker room)

Also includes wide backdoor area which accommodates pool and private tennis court.

This is also my first build that I have made a video tutorial on, for those who are interested in recreating this house in their own worlds, or seeing how it was made.

Download instructions: The zipped file after download will contain a folder labelled 'See Inside'. Open this and you will find both the world save and schematic files for this build. Uncompress/unzip the folder and drag/copy the world save into where your other minecraft saves are stored (%appdata%/.minecraft/saves).
