use a nether star to gain 2 extra hearts by interacting with it (right clicking it or for mobile players pressing the crosshair button
it gives you regeneration for 3 seconds so you dont have any hearts thats just empty
you have to note that every 2 heart last 833 in game days and its stackable, also every time you use a nether star the timer resets
