I created SimpleSay because out of all the server consoles I've tried, none of them particularly show broadcasts in a format I particularly liked, and there were sometimes no ways to edit the message format. This plugin simply overrides the /say command to support color codes and any format you choose. Willing to add more features when requested.
Commands:
- /simplesay - Info about the plugin
- /simplesay reload - Reload the configuration file
- /simplesay format - Read the current format of the broadcast in-game
- /simplesay setprefix - Set the prefix of the broadcast
- /simplesay setformat - Set the trailing message after the prefix
- /say <message> - Broadcasts a message server-wide
- simplesay.* - Access to all permissions
- simplesay.reload - Access to reload configuration
- simplesay.say - Access to /say command
- simplesay.format - Access to /simplesay format
- simplesay.setprefix - Access to /simplesay setprefix
- simplesay.setformat - Access to /simplesay setformat
Spoiler: IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT EDITING IN-GAME
When editing the aspects of the broadcast in-game, inserting a space can be denoted by "%_%", without quotes. In other words, if you want the trailing space at the end of the prefix ("&d[Server] "), you would type the command as follows: "/simplesay setprefix &d[Server]%_%"
