Visceral Combat Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – Feel the Real Weight Behind Every Sword

Visceral Combat Mod extends Better Combat with heavy movement and impact effects for melee fights. It adds weight to every sword swing so fighting feels more real and rewarding. Instead of just clicking fast, your attacks push you forward and cause brief pauses when they connect. This addition mixes the freedom of normal combat with the locked-in feeling of heavy action games.

Features:

• Forward Lunging: You dash forward in the direction you hold when swinging a weapon. Heavy weapons throw you further, while fast weapons give you a quick, short dash.
• The mod gives you four lunge charges that slowly refill after you use them.
• Players automatically slow down before crashing into an enemy during a lunge.
• Hits cause a tiny freeze effect for both you and the target, making big weapons feel incredibly heavy.
• Any speed you build up during the freeze effect releases all at once when the pause ends.
• Enemies take knockback in the exact direction your weapon swings.
• You bounce back just a little bit when your weapon strikes a target.
• Swinging a weapon creates a glowing slash shape in the air that follows your attack path.

How to Use:

1. Press H to put your weapons away and enter Holster Mode.
2. Run faster while your weapons are holstered, but remember you cannot attack or hold items in your hands.
3. Wait for your attack cooldown to finish before putting weapons away, or you will not get the speed boost.
4. Choose between Arcade, Dueling, or Hybrid lunge modes in the settings to change how your movement keys affect your dash.

Configuration:

• Turn every single feature on or off in the server file.
• Change how far your attacks push you forward.
• Adjust the recharge times and maximum charges for your lunges.
• Change how hard enemies fly back when hit.
• Decide if the hit pause affects you, the monsters, or everyone.
