This is a simple Minecraft Bukkit/Spigot Plugin that changes how Horse-Breeding works.
This Plugin aims to bring real per-generation genetics improvement to Minecraft horses, like real-life evolution the strongest traits are prioritised

Getting Started
This Plugin has two main features: Horse-Breeding and a Horse-Stats display, these will be explained below. Note that this Plugin uses permissions to control usage of the included features, see below for a more detailed explanation. (This can be disabled in the Plugin Config)

Horse-Breeding

Permission-Node:

• cytologicHorses.breeding

Applies a modified formula to set the stats of a bred horse
New Formula (per individual stat): (X*Parent + (1-X)*OtherParent) + Y
X: Random Value between 0-1
Y: A random percentage boost within the minBonus and maxBonus config Settings

Config:
Maximum-Jump-Height: 5.0 (1.0-5.0 blocks currently supported)
Maximum-Health: 30.0 (in half hearts)
Maximum-Speed: 14.5 (in blocks per second)
Modifier-Minimum: -0.05 (minBonus as in Y)
Modifier-Maximum: 0.1 (maxBonus as in Y)



Horse-Stat Powertool
Permission-Node:

• cytologicHorses.powertool

Right-Click any Horse with any kind of book to learn its stats!
Note: The displayed Stat-bars are value out of the config set max, if that is exceeded it will omit a "+" to the end



Please note that this plugin was never intended for public release, with that said I still do my best to fix bugs as fast as I can.
This Plugin was heavily inspired by the abandoned Better-Horses Plugin https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/better-horse-breeding
