BlockyRanks is a simple but powerful Ranks plugin for your Minecraft server. It is designed to help you create the ranking systems you always wanted for your server. Whether your server is a Towny, Factions, Prison or any other RPG or non-RPG server. If you want to create a ranking system with multiple possible paths and branches for your players to choose from, this plugin is for you. If you are tired of the plain old one-path ranking system you see on countless servers, this plugin is for you. If you want to create a more immersive and diverse experience for your players, this plugin is for you.

Download
You can download the latest version here.
Config
The default config for the latest version can be found here.
In order to use BlockyRanks, you need the following:
- Vault
- A vault-hooked permissions manager (While Minecraft will do, I highly recommend LuckPerms)
- A vault-hooked economy provider (For example EssentialsX)
- [optional] mcMMO for additional rank-up requirement features
- [optional] Jobs for additional rank-up requirement features
- [optional] A vault-hooked chat provider for automatic rank prefix displays (My recommendation is ChatControl Pro)
- [optional] MultiverseCore (or similar) for multiple worlds with different ranks
- [optional] PlaceholderAPI for placeholder support. The available placeholders can be looked up here
Please note:
BlockyRanks is not a "permissions management plugin". You need a separate permissions plugin to handle the actual permissions management for the server. This plugin just provides a visual gui to make ranking systems more enjoyable and rpg-like.
I am continuously working on expanding the features and have a lot of things planned for the future. Currently the following features are implemented:
Branches
Set up and connect your branches to create a " rank tree" (or ranking system). Branches can split into two to five other child-branches and players can choose which path to follow. Likewise you can also merge two to five branches together into one subsequent branch by linking them to the same child-branch. You can have multiple "dead-end" branches on your branch tree too if you'd like. So many different setups are possible!
Ranks
Define your ranks the way you like to. Set up custom display names, rankup cost in money or xp, rankup requirements such as total play time or mcMMO levels, perks and commands that get executed on rankup. Go nuts!
Simple Commands
There are two simple player commands. One is for ranking up and the other is for displaying the ranks. Both open a clickable inventory ui that you can (to a very large degree) customize. There is also an admin command that provides you and your staff with additional features like setting a player's rank, removing a player's rank and import/export features.
PlaceholderAPI Placeholders
If you have the popular plugin PlaceholderAPI running on the server, you can make use of the numerous placeholders this plugin provides.
BlockyRanks API
Blockyranks provides an extensive public API you can use as a developer to hook into the functionalities of this plugin. Server owners also have the benefit of providing the API to potential plugin developers and can use plugins that integrate and use the BlockyRanks API.
Customizable Messages
Customize the messages players get when they use this plugin. Including messages for ranking up, rankup broadcasts, rankup errors and many more to come. Chat Color Codes and some placeholders are supported as well.
Custom Storage
Store your player ranks data locally in an SQLite database or in a humanly readable and easily editable YML file, or in a remote MySQL database of your choosing, which makes sharing ranks data across multiple servers easy as pie!
Multi-World-Support
Each world can have its own separate rank tree if you want it to. Since The Nether and The End are regarded as their own world by Minecraft, this means that you can set up custom ranks for those worlds as well, giving players even more opportunities to rank up and earn perks and rewards.
Custom(izable) GUI
The GUI can be highly customized. You can decide which items represent what action and what is shown to your players!
