Welcome to The Nexus Project

The Nexus Project is a character-driven Minecraft mod that brings iconic figures from Undertale, Hazbin Hotel, Sonic the Hedgehog, and more into your world. By holding each character’s signature item, you gain access to custom health pools, infinite high-level potion effects, unique active abilities, resource bars, and thematic weaknesses. And Built in custom voice chat (V)

Playable Characters

🔴 Chara

• Health: 15 Hearts (30 HP)
• Signature Weapon: Red Knife (7 Base Damage, Infinite Durability)
• Passive Potion Effect: Infinite Resistance (while holding the Red Knife)
• Abilities:
  • Knife Slash (No Cooldown): A swift melee attack.
  • Freeze (1 Min Cooldown): Freezes all players and mobs within a 5-block radius, dealing 10 damage. The freeze effect lasts for 1 minute.
  • Hate Mark (1 Min Cooldown): Marks a player and dealing more damage to them.
  • Red/Black Aura (1 Min Cooldown): Emits an aura in a 5-block radius lasting 1 minute. Any player or mob caught inside suffers from Weakness, Slowness, Darkness, and takes 2 hearts of damage over time.
  • Second Chance (1 Min Cooldown): Acts as a Totem of Undying. If you take fatal damage while this is off cooldown, your death is prevented, and your health and hunger are fully restored.
• Hate Bar Mechanic: Fill your Hate Bar by defeating players and mobs. As the bar grows, you receive increasingly powerful levels of Strength, Speed, and Resistance.
• Weakness (Spiders): All abilities and active effects are instantly disabled when you are within 7 blocks of a spider.

🎙️ Alastor

• Health: 20 Hearts (40 HP)
• Signature Weapon: Radio Staff (5 Base Damage, Infinite Durability)
• Passive Potion Effects: Infinite Night Vision and Resistance (while holding the Radio Staff)
• Abilities:
  • Tentacle Summon (1 Min Cooldown): Shoots a tentacle forward, grabbing players or mobs and throwing them. Deals 2 hearts of damage.
  • Shadow Mobility (No Cooldown): Traversal skill allowing swift teleportation or shadow movement.
  • Screen Glitch (2 Min Cooldown): Inflicts a red glitch screen effect on players and blinds/stuns nearby mobs for 1 minute.
  • The Deal: Send a pact proposal to a targeted player (they will see a prompt: [E]: Yes / [N]: No). If they accept, you can summon them to your position at any time. If they try to attack you, they are punished with Weakness and Blindness. The deal only breaks if you die.
  • Fire Summon: Rips open a 20-block crack in the ground, unleashing a massive fire beam that obliterates everything in its path. Mobs and players within a 5-block radius are dragged in by shadow hands.
• Soul Bar Mechanic: Fill the Soul Bar by defeating entities to summon a shadow helper that fights alongside you and grants random buffs. If your health drops low while the bar is full, you enter Shadow Form and are automatically brought to a player on the surface.
• Special Action ("R" Key): Allows you to broadcast your voice directly through nearby Note Blocks and Jukeboxes.
• On Death/Drop: If you die or drop your Radio Staff, a green blast detonates, damaging all mobs and players within a 10-block radius.
• Weakness (Electricity): Getting struck by Vox's electrical attacks disables all your powers for 5 minutes.

📺 Vox

• Health: 20 Hearts (40 HP)
• Signature Weapon: Vox's Hat (Infinite Durability)
• Passive Potion Effects: Infinite Night Vision, Resistance, and Water Breathing (while holding Vox's Hat)
• Abilities:
  • Wire Summon (1 Min Cooldown): Launches wires forward to grab and throw mobs or players, dealing 2 hearts of damage.
  • Electric Mobility (No Cooldown): Fast-paced electric traversal.
  • Hypno Eye (1 Min Cooldown): Projects a hypnotic overlay on player screens and blinds/stuns mobs for 1 minute.
  • The Deal: Send a pact proposal to a targeted player (prompt: [E]: Yes / [N]: No). If accepted, you can summon them to you at will. If they attack you, they are inflicted with Weakness and Blindness. The deal only ends if you die.
  • Electric Blast (No Cooldown): Fires a continuous beam of electricity dealing 5 hearts of damage.
• Electric Bar Mechanic: Generates a helper shockwave that fights alongside you and provides random buffs. If your health drops low while the bar is full, the shockwave grabs you and pulls you up to the surface.
• On Death/Drop: If you die or drop Vox's Hat, all light sources in the area go out for 30 seconds.
• Weakness (Alastor’s Glitch): If caught in Alastor's Screen Glitch ability, your movement and powers are entirely disabled until the glitch effect ends.

🥚 Dr. Eggman

• Health: 10 Hearts (20 HP)
• Signature Weapon: White Gloves (Infinite Durability)
• Passive Potion Effects: None.
• Abilities:
  • Zombie Summon (1 Min Cooldown): Summons 5 custom zombies that attack nearby players and mobs (they will not target you).
  • Death Egg Laser (1 Min Cooldown): Orders a devastating orbital strike from the Death Egg, completely deleting the chunk you are looking at.
  • Power Nullify (1 Min Cooldown): Disables all active powers within a 5-block radius.
  • Overdrive (1 Min Cooldown): Grants maximum levels of Strength, Durability (Resistance), and Speed for 1 minute.
  • Rocket Shoes: Enables flight capability (requires fuel to operate).
• Chaos Bar Mechanic: If your health drops low while your Chaos Bar is fully charged, Chaos Energy will automatically teleport you back to the surface or your spawn point.

💀 Sans

• Health: 1 Heart (2 HP)
• Signature Weapon: Blue Eye
• Passive Potion Effects: None.
• Abilities:
  • Bone Throw (1 Min Cooldown): Throws a barrage of bones dealing 10 damage.
  • Teleport (2 Sec Cooldown): Instantly teleports you to your crosshair location.
  • Gaster Blasters (1 Min Cooldown): Summons Gaster Blasters to fire a beam dealing 14 damage.
  • Soul Grab (No Cooldown): Grab and manipulate the physical movement of other players simply by looking at them.
  • Ground Bone Summon (1 Min Cooldown): Forces bones to spike up from the ground underneath targets.
• Soul Bar Mechanic: While your Soul Bar contains energy, taking any hit will trigger an automatic random teleport within a 5-block radius to dodge the incoming damage.
• Weakness (Overuse): Overusing your abilities can temporarily disable them, leaving you with only your basic teleport ability.

🌀 Sonic

• Health: 10 Hearts (20 HP)
• Signature Weapon: Speed Shoes
• Passive Potion Effects: Infinite Resistance and Healing (while holding the Speed Shoes)
• Abilities:
  • Super Speed (1 Min Cooldown): A toggleable, high-velocity travel state.
  • Homing Spin Dash (1 Min Cooldown): A targeted, homing spin attack.
  • Spin Dash (1 Min Cooldown): A rapid charging roll that damages entities in your path.
  • Energy Steal (2 Min Cooldown): Siphons energy from other players' resource bars until your own bar is completely full.
  • Speed Boost (20 Sec Cooldown): A quick, forward burst of speed.
• Speed Bar Mechanic: While your Speed Bar has energy, you will automatically dodge any incoming attack by instantly shifting 2 blocks to the left or right.
• Weakness (Water): You cannot swim or float in water. Entering water causes you to sink straight to the bottom, though you can still walk along the sea floor.

👼 Adam

• Health: 30 Hearts (60 HP)
• Signature Weapon: Signature Weapon / Object (Infinite Durability)
• Passive Potion Effects: Infinite Resistance, Healing, and Strength (active continuously as long as you hold the signature weapon).
• Summary: A durable juggernaut character capable of absorbing massive amounts of damage. Adam relies on overwhelming passive status boosts to dominate close-quarters combat.

👑 Lucifer

• Health: 40 Hearts (80 HP)
• Signature Weapon: Signature Weapon / Object (Infinite Durability)
• Passive Potion Effects: Infinite Resistance, Healing, Fire Resistance, and Strength (active continuously as long as you hold the signature weapon).
• Summary: Lucifer features the largest health pool in the mod, complemented by complete fire immunity and high-level healing and strength boosts. He represents a premier defensive and offensive option.

🃏 Husker

• Health: 20 Hearts (40 HP)
• Signature Weapon: Signature Weapon / Object (Infinite Durability)
• Passive Potion Effects: Infinite Resistance (active continuously as long as you hold the signature weapon).
• Summary: A reliable survivalist option. Husker features a solid baseline of 20 hearts alongside a steady defensive boost, allowing players to hold their ground in prolonged encounters.
