Interactable Mobs
1. Explanation
With this plugin you are able to spawn mobs which can send messages to your players, teleport them, let them execute a command or even send them to other servers in your bungeecord network. Players have to hit a mob to trigger this.
2. Commands
- IMobs - Show an overview.
- IMobs VERSION - Show the current version.
- IMobs ADD <Name> - Add a mob.
- IMobs REMOVE <Name> - Remove a mob.
- IMobs RESPAWN <Name> - Respawn a mob(For updating purposes when the name is changed for example).
3. How to use
The plugin creates a folder called InteractableMobs and in this folder there is another folder called mobs and this is the folder in which information about the mobs is stored.
If you create a new mob by executing "imobs add Test" a new file will pop up in the folder. The mob will have some auto generated values. It will look something like this:
Explanation to the different options:
- name: The name of the mob but it can be animated!
- visible: If the name should be visible or not. It uses an ArmorStand so the name is visible from anywhere around.
- animated: If the name should be animated. This means it starts a task for animating the name. If you dont use an animated name set it to false.
- speed: The animation speed of the name.
- world: The name of the world the mob should be in.
- direction: The direction the mob should face.
- location: The location of the mob.
- type: Defines the type of mob but be careful with this! You have to enter the name correctly so there are no errors. If you want to see which mobs are available you can look it up here: https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/spigot/org/bukkit/entity/EntityType.html
- action: The name of the action. This means what will happen when a player hits the mob.
- data: The data for the action. If you go to the first picture it is the text that will be send to the player.
- silent: If the mob should make noised or not.
Attention: In order to spawn a new mob you need to use "imobs add <Name>" which is a command but in order to change something you need to edit the config manually! After you are done you can use "imobs respawn <Name>" to apply the changes.
4. Different Types of Actions
- Server: It will send the player to another server in your BungeeCord Network.
- Teleport: It will teleport the player to another location.
- Message: It will send a message to a player:
- Command: It will let the player execute a command.
