The moon cake is one of the famous China traditional cakes, the Mid Autumn Festival custom. Moon cake round and round, but also a family to eat, a symbol of reunion and harmony. Ancient moon cakes were eaten as sacrifices during the Mid-Autumn festival. It is said that the custom of eating moon cakes during the mid autumn festival began in Tang dynasty. Popular in the court when the Northern Song Dynasty, after the spread to folk, then known as the "cookie" and "group". To the Ming Dynasty, it became a diet custom that the whole nation had bought together. Moon cakes and local food customs fusion, and developed a wide style, Beijing style, Su style, Chaozhou style, Yunnan style moon cakes and other Chinese people throughout North and South are loved.
