Barbed Wire

Hello, Spigot users!

I made this little plugin, which adds barbed wires to Minecraft in late 2014. It's now been two and a half years since, but the plugin seems to still be going strong with over 1200 downloads on Spigot and 1500 on dev.bukkit.org.

BarbedWire is great for the PVP crowd, as it offers defensive capabilities for bases.

They look like cobwebs, but when someone walks in them, they get damaged. The damage given is configurable in the config.yml, and all barbed wires are saved to a separate file in your plugins/barbedwire folder which should not be touched.

There are numerous configurable options available:

• damage
  (Customize how much damage a player is dealt when he walks on a barbed wire)
• safeOps
  (Customize whether or not operators of a server should recieve damage when they walk on barbed wires)
• bwIsCustBlock
  (Customize whether or not all cobwebs in the world deal damage when walked on. If this option is true however, only barbed wires crafted or recieved from the /bw give command deal damage)
• debug
  (Logs stuff to the console, but beware, this will spam!)

There are some commands as well:

• /bw give or /bw give <amount>
  This will give the player either one or the <amount> specified barbed wires.

I almost forgot to add the permissions!

• bw.give
  To grant a player the /bw give command.
• bw.*
  Gives access to all commands as usual.
