When you type /nopvp, this plugin will block you hitting anyone and anyone hitting you. However, NoPVP doesn't protect you from drops, mobs and anything else.
Essentials /God completely prevents you from dying meanwhile this only prevents you from causing damage and receiving damage from PVP.
Messages are customizable.
* Customize hit message when a player has /nopvp on or off
