EpicTeams is a simple yet customizable Bukkit/Spigot plugin you can install on your server for teams.
Most of this plugin's features are customizable with descent documentation in the resource files!
This plugin packs up a simple wide variety of features, with customizable and infinite teams. If you are looking for a teams plugin were you can create your own team with its own name basically, you are in the right place.
Moving forward to the commands this plugin provides:
There are 2 different types of help lists:
1- The admin help list which shows the help list + admin commands
2- The member help list which shows the normal help list.
Both help lists are customizable in the language resource file.
The plugin has 1 permission node: epicteams.admin
This permission node provides access to the admin commands which are:
1- /team delete (name) which deletes a specified team.
2- /team reload which simply reloads the plugin resources.
Users with this permission will also see the admin help list.
Plugin configuration file:
https://github.com/SkyAcer009/epicteams/blob/master/src/main/resources/config.yml
Plugin language file:
https://github.com/SkyAcer009/epicteams/blob/master/src/main/resources/lang_en.yml
This plugin also offers a restricted.yml file were you can add your own swear or restricted words that are filtered when creating a team with those words.
https://github.com/SkyAcer009/epicteams/blob/master/src/main/resources/restricted.yml
The plugin offers an option to choose whether you want persistent or temporary teams.
Persistent teams: Team objects stored in the database directory of the plugin with an interesting file extension. Hence, teams won't get deleted on server restart / crash / plugin reload or when the owner leaves.
Temporary teams: Teams are stored in the plugin code. Will get deleted upon server restart / crash / plugin reload. Or when the owner leaves.
You can choose that option in the plugin's config.yml:
use-plugin-database: false # Change to true for persistent teams.
The plugin also provides an option to filter out numbers or special characters in the team name.
Check out the config.yml file.
More features are expected to come soon for this plugin, such as:
1- Improved swear filter.
2- Team Spy for admins to spy on team chat.
3- Team ignore to ignore specific players in team chat.
In addition to more other features I have in my head.
If you have any bug reports, please do report in the comments down below, or just open a new conversation with me, and I'll reply as fast as possible. As I will be keeping track on the plugin's performance for the first month.
