Horror Video Tape

Horror Video Tape is a Minecraft horror experience mod themed around classic horror footage. Originally created by DaveNextDoorSteve, it is now being remastered from the old Bedrock Edition to Java Edition.

At the core of the mod are a retro vintage television set and three mysterious video tapes—each tape seals away a different recording.

Insert the White Video Tape into the TV, and the screen will flicker with eerie snowy static. Accompanied by an unsettling melody, a distorted video begins to play… When the footage ends, the terrifying Sadako will crawl out from in front of the TV! She has 100 health points and 40 attack damage, ignores sunlight and water, and can only be harmed by weapons enchanted with Smite. However, she does not remain forever—Sadako lingers in this world for only 15 seconds before vanishing like a ghost. If you offer her a Poppy before she disappears, you can soothe her grudge and keep her by your side forever as your friend.

Of course, there are more tapes waiting to be discovered—the Black-and-White Video Tape plays a mesmerizing KUN dance, while the Black Video Tape unleashes a Nyan Cat. Each tape features meticulously crafted frame-by-frame animations and exclusive music. All translations are done by AI.
