Guideposts is a survival-friendly fast travel plugin

I started making this plugin when I wanted a way for every player to quickly traverse long distances without needing to have permissions for a teleportation command.

This waypoint system is unique in that waypoints cost resources and every player, operator or not, can travel from one Guidepost to another, making it a perfect solution for survival gameplay with spread-out locations.

How to create a Guidepost:

A Guidepost consists of a very simple structure: A diamond block, best dug in the ground, a cobblestone wall on the diamond block and topped off with a sign.

The first line of the sign will determine the waypoints name and must be unique, the other three lines are cleared for various shitposting.

A diamond block?!? Thats expensive!!
Yes.
But given that you can travel an unlimited distance with these, and that in multiplayer you will have way more resources than in singleplayer, i think it is a fair price.
And if you are still not convinced, don`t worry, the option to change the base block is coming.

Planned additions:

Features
- The ability to choose the base blocks in a config file

QoL
-
Teleported players always looking at the Guidepost

Known bugs:

-Spaces in the name of the Guidepost currently cause errors
