Cushion Sub-Pixel Restorer
Bring back micro-precision, custom steps, and detailed furniture! This lightweight mod restores the sub-pixel cushion placement behavior on cauldrons, composters, hoppers, and more, allowing you to bypass grid-snapping constraints.
What Does This Mod Do?
In recent versions, placing cushions on top of blocks with complex hitboxes (like cauldrons and hoppers) allowed them to sink or stack at precise, sub-pixel heights. Builders used this interaction to create custom chairs, layered stairs, and flush multi-colored "LED" screens.
Supported Blocks
This mod is designed to be a 100% complete revert of the restriction, applying to every block currently known to utilize sub-pixel offsets:
- Containers & Standard Utility: Cauldrons (All variants), Composters, Hoppers, Decorated Pots, Heavy Cores
- Fittings & Fasteners: Chains (including Copper variants and all oxidation/waxed states)
- Decorative & Detail Blocks: Skull/Heads (Skeleton, Wither, Player, Zombie, Creeper, Dragon, Piglin), Frogspawn
- Redstone Components: Weighted Pressure Plates (Light/Heavy), Stone/Polished Blackstone Pressure Plates
