Simple Hub Parkour
Create a simple parkour track for your bungee hub. Free Minecraft Java mod for 1.13, 1.14, 1.15.
⬇ Download on SpigotThis lightweight plugin was designed with bungee hubs and/or server lobbies in mind. By the adjective "simple", I refer to the fact is that this plugin is internally simple and very lightweight.
With it, you can make a single parkour track (per server) by simply specifying where the beginning and end heavy weighted plates are located.
Features:
- Create a parkour for your lobby.
- Custom respawn points can be set by placing golden pressure plates.
- Start and end points indicated with iron pressure plates.
- Players get a message when they finish the parkour, indicating how much time it took them to complete, and how many times they fell.
- A barrier allows players to leave the parkour by right clicking it whenever they wish.
Testing the parkour:
You can test how the parkour works/feels in my server lobby: play.mithrandircraft.es
Installation:
Just drag and drop the plugin to your /plugins file
The bare minimums to get your simple parkour track to work:
1. Configure the FirstSpawn coordinates in the configuration.
Use f3 + look at the block you wish to use as first respawn (Same technique can be applied with the other two coordinate configurations).
In this case, it's recommended that you use one block higher, since the coordinates you'll get from f3 are inside the block.
2. Place a HEAVY_WEIGHTED_PRESSURE_PLATE where you want the track to begin, get it's coordinates with f3, and set them as StartPlate coordinates in config.
3. Place a HEAVY_WEIGHTED_PRESSURE_PLATE where you want the track to end, get it's coordinates with f3, and set them as EndPlate coordinates in config.
4. (Optional, as many as you want) Place LIGHT_WEIGHTED_PRESSURE_PLATE along your track. These will serve as respawn points if the player falls onto an invalid block during the track.
5. Configure ParkourValidBlocks in config (read description comment for details).
Commands:
/simplehubparkour reload - Will reload the plugin's configuration
Permissions:
None.
Notable limitations:
-You can only make a single simple parkour track per server
-Due to the plugin's simplcity, the golden respawn pressure plates reset back respawn coordinates, even if you've already had it applied to a gold plate that's further along the track.
- The plugin will place a barrier in the 9th slot of the player's hotbar. This will substitute any items that are there.
- The parkour depends entirely on what valid blocks you choose, therefore, make sure there are no configured as valid blocks in the parkour surroundings that the player may fall on top of, or his position won't be reset.
