⬇ Download on SpigotNegatePetDamage, or NPD for short, is a simple plugin that will prevent you or your players from accidentally killing their pets. For versions 1.11+ you have the configuration option 'negate-only-sweep', this means that you can damage your animals but you won't when the cause of damage is a sweeping edge attack. Just install the plugin and you will no longer have to worry about hurting your pets.
