NaoCore
NaoCore is the foundation mod of the Nao suite — an extensible API designed for building RPG experiences on Fabric. It doesn't do anything spectacular on its own, but it provides the building blocks that all Nao mods (and potentially yours) need.
What NaoCore provides
- Extensible caste/race system — register your own races, classes, or factions from any dependent mod, without touching the core.
- Dynamic theme system — each caste can have its own visual identity (colors, textures), automatically applied to the player's interface.
- Persistent character stats — strength, intelligence, experience, level, synced between client and server.
- Built-in character panel — a dedicated tab in the inventory (Story, Quests, Stats), also extensible: addon mods can add their own tabs.
- AMOLED interface — dark, minimalist aesthetic by default, which adapts to the player's active caste.
Who is it for?
NaoCore is not a content mod — it's a technical foundation. It's designed to be used by other mods in the Nao suite (class systems, quests, items...) that build on it to stay consistent with one another.
