Hallownest's Remains

Hallownest's Remains is a Minecraft mod built to impliment features from the game franchise Hollow Knight by Team Cherry. The mod is supposed to envelope the sense of exploring the remnants of the ancient civilizations such as Hallownest or Pharloom from the Hollow Knight series. Take note: this mod is currently at its earliest stage of development. Not everything has been implimented or fully refined/polished. This release is just to gauge the interest the mod may have.

This mod adds (much more to come):

• A soul spell system with 2 spells
• 2 custom biomes
• A few custom structures
• 2 new weapon types
• a forging mechanic
• 3 new ores
• A new villager type
• Many items/blocks based on the games
• A custom stone variant
• A new enchantment infusing mechanic

A few tips:

The advancement tab will be your main guide, but a few things may go unexplained. First off, to find pale ore, you must find a structure called the pale egg deep underground and mine to the center.

Also, in order to cast a soul spell, you'll need a soul charge and at least one whole point of soul (this can be gained through various means like consuming a soul bottle). Once those requirments are met, press the [G] key. And, with the vigor charge, you can heal up to three hearts using the [Z] key!

Forging:

Next, you must forge weapons to enhance their strengths. After crafting the old nail/needle and upgrading it to a regular nai/needle via crafting, you must make a nail forge. To actually forge, you need the weapon to upgrade, a slurry specific to the weapon (metal slurry for the nails and silky slurry for the needles. Recipies in in-game recipe book.), and a forge charge. It may sound complicated, but all you have to do is place the items in their respective slots, labled with images of the items, and click "Forge". If you want to create a soul star, you must forge a pale steel ingot with soul slurry using the nail forge.

Infusing:

Infusing is a new mechanic added to the mod. By crafting the enchantment infuser, you unlock the ability to create infused items (currently only an infused pale orb). To infuse, you need a soul star and an infuseable object. Put them into the infuser and click [Infuse] to infuse the item.

Other Info:

• The gamerule useSoulForSpells will change if spell charges need/consume soul

• The gamerule voidDealsDamage toggles whether the void liquid deals damage to entities or not
