GIVE PLAYERS A REASON TO RETURN

BetterDailyQuest helps you create clear goals for your players.

Build daily activities, weekly challenges, monthly objectives, training quests, seasonal events, or any other schedule that suits your server. Each quest can contain several tasks, custom rules, progress messages, and rewards.

Quest groups share settings such as reset schedules, assignment limits, rerolls, and repeatable quests. This helps you manage large sets of quests without repeating the same options in every file.

ASSIGNMENTS, RESETS, AND REROLLS

Quest groups control how many active quests a player can receive.

Assign quests automatically when player data loads or when a group resets. You can also give a selected quest through a command.

Vault support allows different assignment limits for roles such as default players and VIP members.

Players can start waiting quests and reroll an assignment when you allow it. Staff commands are available for giving, clearing, resetting, starting, rerolling, and completing quests.

MAIN COMMANDS

Code (Text):

/bdq
/bdq reload
/bdq give <group> <quest> [player]
/bdq clear <player> <questID>
/bdq reset <player> <questID>
/bdq start <questID>
/bdq start-others <player> <questID>
/bdq reroll <questID>
/bdq reroll-others <player> <questID>
/bdq complete <player> <questID>

Every staff command has its own permission.

STORAGE

SQLite is included and is the simplest choice for one server.

MariaDB is also supported when you want to use an external database.

Player assignments, task progress, reroll counts, and completion history are saved. Always stop the server cleanly before copying the database.

OPTIONAL INTEGRATIONS

Vault
Use permission roles to give different assignment limits.

PlaceholderAPI
Display the time remaining before a quest group resets:

Code (Text):

%betterdailyquest_group_reset_<group>%

Addons
Trusted addons can add presentation features or react to BetterDailyQuest events.

BetterDailyQuest works without these optional integrations.
